1 Information We Collect

We strive to collect the minimum amount of personal information necessary, especially from children.

1.1 Non-Personal Information

• Game Usage Data: We collect information about how the app is used, such as game progress, scores, session duration, and interface interactions. This helps us improve gameplay and identify bugs. This data is anonymized or aggregated and cannot be used to identify any individual.
• Device Information: We collect technical data about your device (type, operating system, language settings) to ensure compatibility and optimize performance. This data does not personally identify you.
• Advertising Identifiers (for non-PRO/VIP users): For users without an active PRO or VIP subscription, we display contextual ads via Google AdMob. Third-party ad services may collect device identifiers (such as the Advertising ID) for ad delivery and frequency capping. For child-directed requests, all advertising is treated as non-personalized and age-appropriate.

1.2 Personal Information

War of Older does not actively request or collect personally identifiable information (such as full name, government ID, or phone number) from any user, including children.

• Username (Nickname): Users may create a nickname to appear on leaderboards and in multiplayer matches. We strongly encourage users not to include personally identifiable information in their username.
• Account Information (via Supabase): To manage game progress, leaderboards, coins, and subscriptions, we use Supabase as our backend platform. Supabase uses its own user ID for authentication. An email address may optionally be used for login, but is not used for marketing or shared outside the authentication context.

2 How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain the War of Older app and its services.
• To improve gameplay, including developing new features and optimizing performance.
• To display leaderboards and enable multiplayer functionality.
• To process in-app purchases (PRO Account, VIP Account, coin packs).
• To display contextual ads for non-subscribers, in compliance with Google and Apple ad policies.
• To conduct internal analytics to understand app usage and improve user experience.
• To ensure app security and prevent fraud.

3 Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, to comply with a subpoena or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4 Children's Privacy

War of Older is designed for users of all ages and complies with COPPA (US), GDPR (EU), and LGPD (Brazil), where applicable.

• No Collection of Children's Personal Data: We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction) without verifiable parental consent. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at suporte@warofolder.com and we will promptly delete it.
• Child-Safe Advertising: All ad requests from child-directed users are treated as child-directed, disabling personalized advertising and ensuring only age-appropriate, contextual ads are displayed.
• Persistent Identifiers: As described in Section 1.1, we may use persistent identifiers for internal app operations and contextual (non-personalized) advertising for children, in compliance with COPPA and applicable laws.

5 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS and iPadOS, War of Older requests permission to track your activity across apps and websites via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, in compliance with Apple's App Store Guidelines.

• This request appears on your first launch of the app after installation.
• If you allow tracking, advertising identifiers may be used to show you more relevant ads through Google AdMob.
• If you deny tracking, only contextual (non-personalized) ads will be shown. All core game features remain fully available regardless of your choice.
• You can change your tracking preference at any time via: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → War of Older.

6 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable data protection laws (such as GDPR or LGPD), you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• The right to access your information.
• The right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
• The right to request deletion of your information and account.
• The right to object or restrict the processing of your information.
• The right to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights — including deleting your account — you can use the Delete Account option within the app (Menu → Logout → Delete Account), or contact us at suporte@warofolder.com.

7 Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Supabase, which applies industry-standard security practices.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8 Third-Party Links

Our app may contain links to third-party websites (e.g., AdMob's privacy policy). If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. We advise you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.

If changes are significant, we will seek new verifiable parental consent where required by law before applying changes to the collection of children's data.
